i can't wait to hear you play.

the weather looks fabulous. i'd so love to have some of that fantastic wind and rain!!! seems like it'll be ages before we get that... at least not until jan or feb... but maybe sooner, if we're lucky. last year it rained at the end of sept., if memory serves me right.

what type of British accent do you have? i had to reply some of this vlog so i could understand what you were saying. :)

Um Naief - I am from Kent, the very south east of England, the bit between London and France. Sorry if I gabble my words sometimes, I must work on stopping that! Regarding the weather, isn't it amazing that you never get what you want? We would love a bit more sun over here...

Rain + guitar = priceless.

Rain + guitar + no battery = bummer.

I hope you enjoyed yourself anyhow. I love your laughter - even when it didn't go right, we still got a great video out of it! Thanks for trying.

Have a great weekend yourself!

Is it possible you're just stringing us along????

Ok, ok, I'll be patient.

no, no... you don't gabble your words (i'm assuming gabble means to run together). i have a hard time w/ some British accents. i like it... and it's good for me to get used to different accents! for the longest time, if you can believe it, i couldn't tell between the south african, british and irish. now... finally, i can.

so you live close to france. that must be nice!! is that why you have such beautiful landscape? or is most of england like that?

You know...even I could throw my guitar on my back and CLAIM that my amp battery died...but I guess I'll give you the benefit of the doubt :)

Hearing you talk is entertaining for me anyways - and I mean that as a compliment! You make me smile! And giggle! And drag husband over to the computer to watch your videos :)

Jen - It was a real bummer, I really wanted to do it!

Terri - Stringing you along? Well I have taken my time, I guess...

Teresa - I hope the latest post will calm the natives a bit...

Kenady - Next attempt already posted - thanks for your patience!

James - you are right...

Sitting in Silence - Thanks, it was fun despite the technical hitch!

Um Naief - Kent is known as "The Garden of England" with much of it designated as an "Area of outstanding natural beauty". Lots of other parts of England are as good or better but I think this part has been lucky in escaping too much industrial development - it is the housing developmemt that is threatening to ruin it all. Accents are great fun - wait til you get to grips with some English accents, they are like another language altogether!

Ali - Happy to entertain! As though I would PRETEND my bettery died!

Zig - I know how absurd it was - that is why I was laughing in my video.

Alyssa - definitely for sure! I did it!

Teresa said...

...nope, only made it worse! LOL!!

...nothing like getting nagged on your blog eh? LOL!!

I honestly thought you were going to say that lightening struck - but then you wouldn't be standing under a tree would you? Loved the video!

You are so delightful! Having only just bumped into your blog -- I must tell you that it is absolutely enchanting!

A very nice fellow in my church is from the Kent area and your accent seemed very familiar to me -- now I know why.

Much of my family (the Stockdils) live in England -- mostly the countryside. They report that they have not yet been invaded by Madonna so they are content to pay their taxes and remain in England for the time being. Ha. Ha.

Anyway, I am so very pleased to have found your blog. You have made my day!

Blessings!
Lacy
